Is it safe and secure to enter my e-mail password on ClickUni?

In a word, yes!

We've taken great care to ensure the security of your e-mail account if you use the e-mail widget on your ClickUni page. In short, your password is encrypted at all stages so that it can't be intercepted by attackers, and only ever used to connect to your account when serving a request for you to see your mail.

More details:

• We store a record of your password in our database in order to prevent you having to re-enter it. Our database is carefully secured and your password is stored in an encrypted form for extra safety.
• Although the main ClickUni page is served unencrypted over http, the forms where you configure your account details are served using SSL encryption so your password is not transmitted in clear text.
• We use secure, encrypted connections to all mail servers where possible.
